Although the Volkswagen Passat R-Line isn’t short on power, the newly launched sedan comes with an additional boost that no one will complain. The 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged engine now produces 220PS and 350Nm of torque. A familiar 6-speed wet clutch DSG gets paired with the engine and your driving experience can be altered with the Dynamic Chassis Control.
Not just the power, but sound as well. The Passat R-Line highlights a Harman Kardon audio system where sound is reproduced through 12 high-performance speakers and 700-watt amplifier. There are four modes to conveniently personalise your listening experience: Pure, Chill Out, Live and Energy.
The CKD Volkswagen sedan comes in three metallic colours of Aquamarine Blue, Manganese Grey and the new Scale Silver. The two pearl-effect colours of Deep Black and Oryx White are available at no extra cost.
The new Volkswagen Passat R-Line is priced from RM211,916.88 with the current sales tax exemption. A three-year free maintenance, five years unlimited mileage warranty and five years roadside assistance comes standard with the Passat R-Line.
