We guesstimated the price correctly when we wrote about the Honda CR-V e:HEV RS the last time. Introduced together with the new-generation Honda CR-V, the e:HEV RS was also introduced but without the price. Today, Honda Malaysia has announced that the price of the Honda CR-V e:HEV RS is RM195,900 on-the-road without insurance. So, what will you be getting for that money?
Powered by a 2.0-litre e:HEV powertrain, the CR-V offers 184PS and 335Nm on tap. The powertrain is paired with an Electric Continuous Variable Transmission (e-CVT) in a new framework, ensuring excellent fuel efficiency and high-power compatibility. The 3-Mode Drive System in the All-New CR-V e:HEV RS also elevates the driving sensation, allowing drivers to switch the driving mode according to their preference.
Featuring a completely new look, the modern and sophisticated styling of the model is further elevated by its Full LED Headlights and Tail-Lights, Front LED Sequential Turn Signals, Active Cornering Lights, a Tailpipe Chrome Finisher, Front Grille with a bold Mesh Pattern and Berlina Black 18-inch Alloy Wheels. The design is further enhanced by a set of roof rails and body-coloured front & rear lower bumpers, as well as side cladding. The automatic Active Shutter Grille enhances the aerodynamics and fuel efficiency of the SUV.
The All-New CR-V e:HEV RS offers great practicality and flexibility with its class-leading 589-litre boot capacity. With the Hands-Free Power Tailgate with Walkaway Close function, you can now load and unload both heavy and bulky items onto and off the SUV with ease.
The interior of the e:HEV RS exudes a classy and superior feel with a comfortable and spacious cabin. The 8-way Driver Power Seat with two-position memory enhances the overall comfort and driving experience for the driver. Meanwhile, rear passengers can enjoy a more relaxed ambience with ample legroom and sliding seats that can recline at eight different angles.
Other the features that heighten the cabin experience are a 10.2-inch TFT Meter and Bose Premium Sound System with 12 Speakers. To top it off, customers are treated to a host of purposeful features in the All-New CR-V e:HEV RS, including a Smart Key Card, Head Up Display (HUD), a Wireless Charger, two USB Ports in the front & rear, and a 9-inch Advanced Display Audio with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity.
Honda Malaysia has equipped the All-New CR-V e:HEV RS with an extensive array of safety features and advanced safety technologies. Its comprehensive safety package comprises a total of eight Airbags with the inclusion of two Knee Airbags, a Multi View Camera System (360-degree Camera), Honda LaneWatch and Honda CONNECT. The All-New CR-V e:HEV RS now has nine Honda SENSING functions with the inclusion of Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB).
