The 2024 summer Olympics will be happening in Paris next month and Chery Malaysia has announced their support for the local athletes. Chery recognises the hard work the athletes put in and has incentivised them for winning medals.
Chery Malaysia, who recently launched its dedicated assembly plant, has pledged the following vehicles to the medallists:
- Gold Medallists will receive the Tiggo 8 Pro
- Silver Medallists will receive the Omoda E5
- Bronze Medallists will receive the Tiggo 7 Pro
“We know they have put in the hard work and long hours of training for the games. We have high hopes that this year, Malaysia will achieve the coveted gold medal that the nation has been eyeing.” said Leo Chen President of Chery Auto Malaysia.
“We are indeed very happy with the pledge by Chery Malaysia to reward Malaysia athletes who will do well in the upcoming Olympics in Paris. We hope this will spur the athletes to give their best and make the country proud,” said National Sports Council Director-General, Abdul Rashid Yaakub.
Globally, the Chery Group is supporting local athletes from various countries who will be competing in the upcoming games. In Malaysia, various activities, including viewing parties, have been organised to cheer on our athletes.
