Your nearest Mazda dealership have started taking orders for the 2023 CKD Mazda CX-30. It is assembled at the Inokom Assembly Plant in Kulim, Kedah, and is the third Mazda production model assembled there with the CX-5 and CX-8.
The locally assembled Mazda CX-30 comes in 4 variants: the 2.0L, 2.0 High, 2.0L High+ and 2.0L High+ Premium. This means the Ignite Edition, AWD and Diesel variants are dropped from the lineup.
Years after its initial launch, the Mazda CX-30 continues to turn heads with its design concept rooted in the Kodo – Soul of Motion philosophy. The compact SUV sports a sleek design that complements its driving dynamics.
The CX-30 continues to be powered by the SKYACTIV-G 2.0L engine that drives the front wheels. The CKD CX-30 comes standard with G-Vectoring Plus (GVC Plus), Rain-sensing wipers, Advanced Keyless Entry and Active Driving Display.
The cabin of the Mazda CX-30 is human-centred and follows the philosophy of the traditional Japanese architecture. A snug and condensed cockpit area for the driver and a clean, airy open space around the front passenger are elements of this design philosophy. The cabin’s packaging accommodates all passengers in relaxed comfort while the luggage space of 430 litres offers enhanced practicality and generous space suitable for all lifestyle requirements.
The Mazda CX-30 adopts an 8.8-inch infotainment display, offering simplified operation via the Commander Control Knob. The infotainment system enables the user to connect to Apple Carplay and Android Auto, located at the centre console armrest. Fitted with a 3-way audio system, an 8-speaker configuration with 3L woofers provides an immersive audio experience for both driver and passengers.
In terms of Safety, the Mazda CX-30 was awarded the and as well as IIHS 2020 TOP SAFETY PICK+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2019, one of the models to score the highest-ever mark in the adult occupancy category. The Mazda CX-30 also performed remarkably in the other three categories – Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road User (pedestrian) and Safety Assist. The rating resulted from three key factors of the adaptation of the SkyActiv-Vehicle Architecture that features a high-rigidity, impact-absorbing, yet lightweight bodyshell. In addition, high standards of pedestrian protection performance and a wide range of advanced i-Activsense safety technologies help drivers identify potential risks and reduce the likelihood of damage or injury.
The Mazda i-Activsense advanced safety features such as the Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Lane-Keep Assist System (LAS), Driver Attention Alert (DAA), Smart Brake Support (SBS) and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go function (MRCC) will come as standard in the High+ and High+ Premium variant.
Meanwhile, the Adaptive LED Headlamps (ALH), Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) with Driver Monitoring (DM) and Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS) will be available exclusively on the Mazda CX-30 High+ Premium variant only.
The colour line-up includes Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black, Platinum Quartz and Polymetal Gray.
The selling price for the CKD Mazda CX-30 starts from RM 128,109.00. Both Manufacturer’s Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
