The GAC MOTOR GS3 EMZOOM, introduced recently, will be the latest SUV to hit the roads. Made by Guangzhou Automobile Group, and distributed here by WTC Automotif, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warisan TC Holdings, the GS3 EMZOOM is now available for booking with a low fee of RM1,000.
The GS3 EMZOOM will be one of the most striking SUVs on Malaysian roads. The SUV’s design elements include a Mecha Wing Grille, Laser Eye Split LED lights and Light Dart taillights. The roof spoiler gets inspiration from Formula 1 cars and the small ducktail-style spoiler completes the SUV’s sporty silhouette. With electric hidden door handles and a crystal shift gear selector, the GS3 EMZOOM is popping with aesthetic appeal.
It is no different inside. The GS3 EMZOOM features a dual-tone interior, a digital meter cluster and a large touchscreen on the centre console. The flat-bottom steering wheel imparts the sporty aspirations of the SUV.
Beneath the hood, the 3rd Generation 1.5T GDI engine promises power and efficiency, while intelligent features like the mid-mounted exhaust and rear flat floor make this car stand out in style and performance. The engine produces 177PS @ 5500rpm and 270Nm @ 1,400rpm. It has a fuel consumption rating of 5.9l/100km.
The GS3 EMZOOM is offered in two variants – the Exclusive and Premium-R. There are four colours to choose from – Ivory White, Starlight Silver, Lake Blue and Graphene Grey. The SUV is estimated to cost below RM130,000 and is expected to launch in Q2 of 2024.
You’ll be able to see the GS3 EMZOOM up close when the first showroom in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, opens in February 2024. Five more showrooms will be opened in Glenmarie, Cyberjaya, Seremban, Johor Bahru and Penang by the first half of 2024.
