A popular compact SUV, the Mazda CX-3, has received upgrades to keep it competitive in a very crowded market. Most of the upgrades are applied to the recently introduced 1.5G Plus and 2.0G Plus variants, while the 2.0G High variant receives a cosmetic upgrade.

For its exterior, the CX-3 1.5G Plus and 2.0G Plus variants now come equipped with LED Headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights, Autofold Outer Rearview Mirrors and Rear Parking Sensors to help enhance driver’s awareness by detecting objects close to its vehicle.

In terms of its interior and connectivity, the CX-3 1.5G Plus and 2.0G Plus are now equipped with a paddle shifter and Wireless Apple CarPlay, which is accessible through the 8-inch Mazda Connect infotainment display.

Additionally, the safety features of the CX-3 1.5G Plus and 2.0G Plus variants are now equipped with four additional SRS Airbags, making a total of 6 airbags and its i-Activsense safety features, which include High Beam Control (HBC), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and Smart City Brake Support (SCBS).

Other specifications of the Mazda CX-3 2.0G High remain unchanged. LED headlamps and rear LED lamps, Qi Wireless Charger, Wireless Apple Carplay, Power Sunroof and 360˚ view monitor, as well as the i-Activsense advanced driver assist systems come as standard. Additionally, the 2.0G High variant received new design alloy wheels.

The colour line-up of the Mazda CX-3 includes Snowflake White Pearl, Jet Black, Machine Gray, Polymetal Gray, Soul Red Crystal, Platinum Quartz (2.0G High variant only) and the newly added colour Aero Gray, making a total of 7 colours available.

The New Mazda CX-3 comes as CBU from Thailand with a selling price that starts from RM 115,720.00 for the 1.5G Plus, RM126,159.00 for the 2.0G Plus and the 2.0G High sets you back RM139,159. The vehicle is now officially open for booking and comes with a 5-year Manufacturer’s Warranty and 5-year Free Maintenance (except BT-50) according to the manufacturer’s standards, inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
