If you want a Honda City with the entire Honda Sensing safety suite but don’t want to drive a hybrid, then this new car is for you. Honda Malaysia has expanded the company’s Honda City lineup to include the new City V-Sensing. This new variant has everything the City RS e-HEV has in terms of safety features.
On top of the standard safety features that include Honda LaneWatch, Rear Seat Belt Reminder and Vehicle Stability Assist, the City V-Sensing comes with a buffet of driver assistance safety features. By using a wide view camera in the front to better recognise road boundaries during day and night driving conditions, Honda Sensing aims for a collision-free mobile society.
Hence, the Honda City V-Sensing is equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Auto High Beam (AHB).
Apart from having the full Honda Sensing safety suite, the City V-Sensing also has a seven-inch Interactive Thin Film Transistor meter that provides easy access to information for the driver. The eight-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto takes care of the infotainment.
Fully equipped with some of the best things in Honda’s catalogue
A first in its class, this compact sedan can be started without anyone inside the car. Via the Engine Remote Start feature, the City V-Sensing can turn on the air-conditioning to cool the interior before entering.
The interior styling of this variant features premium high-quality textures, which include Leather Seats² with Ivory highlights² at inner areas. As for the exterior, the City V-Sensing illuminates the road with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. LED fog lights, LED taillights, and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels completes the look of this new variant.
The City V-SENSING is powered by a 1.5L DOHC i–VTEC engine coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission. This powertrain can produce up to 121PS and a maximum torque of 145Nm.
The new Honda City V-Sensing is priced at RM90,212.36 on-the-road, without insurance and sales tax. Since its launch, Honda Malaysia has moved 23,300 units from showrooms to homes. Will you open your doors to the new Honda City V-Sensing sitting on your driveway?
