Yes, you read that right. TC Subaru, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, has recently introduced the Drive Now, Pay Later promotion. Through this promotion, you can drive away any brand new Subaru Forester and not pay the instalments for the first 15 months.
This means you only need to start servicing the Hire Purchase loan from the 16th month onwards.
The Drive Now, Pay Later promotion is available only to Maybank customers, which means you’ll be applying your Hire Purchase through the bank. The offer is valid between 15 October until 31 December 2021.
As mentioned, only new Subaru Foresters are eligible for the offer. There are six SUVs to choose from — Forester 2.0i-L GT Lite Edition, Forester 2.0i-S, Forester 2.0i-S GT Lite Edition, Forester 2.0i-S Eyesight, Forester 2.0i-S Eyesight GT Lite Edition and Forester 2.0i-S GT Edition.
In addition, every new Forester bought during the campaign comes with a five-year warranty and a complimentary Subaru Eco Sterilising In-Cabin 3D Spray Service worth RM1,200. This sterilising spray removes up to 99% of harmful bacteria and viruses.
All Subaru Forester variants are powered by the same 2.0-litre boxer engine that produces 154ps and 196Nm. The engine is mated to a Lineartronic CVT, which transfers power to all four wheels.
Subaru’s EyeSight is the carmaker’s drive assist technology that uses two front-facing stereo cameras that becomes an extra set of eyes. This active safety system aims to avoid collision and reduce the severity of the impact should an accident become unavoidable.
