BMW Malaysia has recently launched the all-new BMW i5 M60 xDrive at the Malaysian Autoshow 2024, adding to the 5-Series line up alongside the locally assembled BMW 520i. This will be the first time that two fully electric variants are available under the 5 Series family.
The all-new BMW i5 M60 xDrive M performance kidney grille immediately stands out, accentuated by the BMW Iconic Glow exterior package, which adds a fully illuminated frame. Complementing this bold front-end design are the sleek body lines, exuding a sense of contemporary sophistication and confidence. Vertical LED strips in the headlights not only enhance visibility but also set the stage for captivating daytime running lights, contributing to the vehicle’s distinctive appearance.
Further elevating its sporty allure are exclusive M Sport Pro parts, including the M rear spoiler, M Lights Shadowline, M High Gloss Shadowline, and M Sport brakes in red high gloss.
The BMW i5 M60 xDrive retains its 21-inch aerodynamic wheels from the BMW individual line, emphasising its athletic side profile. The signature Hofmeister kink, seamlessly transitioning to the rear, gives the sedan a coupé-like silhouette, while slender LED taillights elegantly round off its luxurious aesthetic, making the BMW i5 M60 xDrive a true standout in its class.
The i5 M60 luxurious interior arrives with the BMW Curved Display that boasts a 12.3-inch instrument panel with a 14.9-inch touchscreen Control Display – consisting of both intuitive interaction and fully digital communication via natural language and touch commands. The space-saving high-voltage battery, located in the underbody, provides a battery capacity of 83.9kWh ensuring ample range for long-distance journeys.

The all-new BMW i5 M60 xDrive is estimated to cost in the ballpark of RM480,000 on-the-road. Included with the car is an 8-year/160,000km battery warranty as well as other premium assistance that BMW has offered with all of their vehicles.
