The sporty compact SUV showcases a range of enhancements seamlessly blending modern technology with everyday practicality.
Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 new exterior enhancements
Mercedes-Benz upgrades the compact GLA SUV with numerous innovations and more extensive equipment. The new radiator grille with central Mercedes-Benz star, single louvre, and accents in black enhances the powerful character. In addition, the bonnet with discreetly suggested power domes underlines the self-confident appearance. The redesigned front bumper with visual underride protection points to the new GLA’s off road genes. The rear bumper now comes with a diffuser further accentuating the sportiness of the exterior. The front apron with simulated underguard in silver, reinforces the confident look of the new GLA.
The new GLA has a modernised light signature featuring powerful LED High Performance front headlamps equipped with Adaptive Highbeam Assist and LED rear lights. The headlamps illuminate the road with a wide beam and pleasant warm-white light much more precisely and generously. Front fog lamps spread the light widely and illuminate peripheral areas better for safer driving in difficult conditions. Mercedes-Benz is expanding the range of options with the new Spectral Blue metallic paint finish. The new GLA stands on 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, aerodynamically optimised, painted in tremolite grey with a high-sheen finish.
Interior upgrades for convenience and driving comfort
The 10.25-inch free-standing double screen offers a holistic high-tech experience and enhance the open-plan architecture. The refreshed multifunction sports steering wheel which now includes new touch-control panels is upholstered in leather.
The new GLA is equipped with comfort seats and they are upholstered in ARTICO man-made leather in black. The Star Pattern trim elements within the cabin blends in harmoniously while also creating exciting contrasts. As such it reinforces and underscores the interior design. Variable folding options for the backrests make the GLA SUV a flexible means of transport for everyday use.
The new GLA also steps up in terms of safety assistance. The Blind Spot Assist and Exit Warning Assist keeps the driver alert while maneuvering city streets and cruising along highways. The Active Brake Assist can help to mitigate the consequences of a collision with other road users. This assistance system can help to avoid collisions with moving or stationary vehicles in front. The new GLA comes with Parking Package with reverse camera and Mirror Package.
DYNAMIC SELECT accessible via the steering wheel touch-control panels or the central display offers different drive programs with setting options for the engine, transmission, suspension, and steering. With the SPORT mode, driving is emphatically dynamic while, in the basic COMFORT mode, it is very balanced. ECO, on the other hand, focuses on efficiency, saves fuel and money.
KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package allows drivers to open, start and lock their vehicle simply by carrying their key with them. HANDS-FREE ACCESS also lets drivers conveniently open and close the tailgate with a kicking motion under the bumper. In addition, simply open and close the EASY-PACK tailgate electrically. This makes loading and unloading the luggage compartment even more convenient.
For an added ease of mind, the new GLA comes with GUARD 360° Vehicle protection offering all-round monitoring of the vehicle’s surroundings – for example with the anti-theft alarm system and tow-away protection with visual and audible warning. Included with the new GLA is TIREFIT and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

All previous functions such as Media, Phone, Vehicle etc., are still available. They can be conveniently operated via the touchscreen or the touch-control panels on the steering wheel.
Revision of the telematics system focused on a new design and improved performance. In addition to new display styles and improved performance, the high level of networking is also impressive.
